2025 Policy Actions by ISD No. 834

Listing of 2025 Policies Added, Revoked, or Amended to the Official Body of ISD No. 834 Policies:

Generally, the School Board is responsible for writing the local-laws of the school district, these are not statutes, but "policies." However, use of the term "policies" could mislead someone to think that all policy is written as policy, there are other written rules controlling employees and operations of the district created by the school board or superintendent, which can be categorized as "protocols" or "guidance," depending on the level of mandate.

If someone wishes to look up what rules the School District has about a given subject or regarding some kind of enforcement action, the Policies are one place to look. Minnesota Statutes and some Federal regulations are also controlling of School District operations.
